Care & Services

We provide comprehensive dental services in a warm, caring environment using the most advanced technology.

  • Emergency Services

We offer fast and efficient emergency service. Whatever the nature of your problem: pain, fractured tooth, abscess, accident, orthodontic, crown, bridge or chipped veneer, we can help you. In case of emergency, please call us. We will provide you with the appropriate procedures to follow at home, or we will schedule an appointment as soon as possible.

  • Dental Examination

Upon your arrival, we will review your medical and dental history and then proceed with a comprehensive dental examination that includes digital x-rays, a thorough examination of teeth, bones, gums, palette and tongue, as well as an oral cancer screening. An intra-oral camera can also be used to help you understand more easily the dentist’s explanation of your diagnosis. After your consultation, you will be able to choose the best long-term dental health plan to meet your needs.

  • Preventive Care

Preventive care helps avert problems before they begin. Regular cleaning, along with a dental examination and x-rays, is paramount to prevention. For children and adolescents, we highly recommend the application of a dental sealant, which is a thin layer of resin applied as a varnish on the premolars and molars in order to protect against decay.

  • Dental Fillings

Dental fillings are used to repair damage created by decay and to prevent the tooth from further deterioration. This procedure involves inserting a material into the damaged dental cavity. Several materials are available: an amalgam, a composite, a CEREC ceramic or a silver filling (this material is no longer used in our clinic due to the toxicity of mercury). The most importance factors in treating cavities are choosing the appropriate material and determining the best treatment. Your dentist will help guide you to make the decision that best suits your needs.

  • Tooth Whitening

The in–office whitening treatment is a safe process used to brighten tooth enamel and dentin(e). Customized molds created from your dental impressions used with a solution of peroxide will restore brightness to your smile.

  • Veneer, Crown and Bridge

A veneer is a thin shell made from a composite or ceramic material that covers the front of the teeth. It is a cosmetic treatment, which improves the appearance of your smile.

A crown is used to restore the shape, appearance and the function of a damaged or decayed tooth. The crown is made of ceramic as this material most resembles a natural tooth. CEREC technology is used to make the crown and can be done either in-office or in the laboratory.

The bridge replaces one or more missing teeth. When a tooth is lost, it must be replaced as soon as possible to prevent the surrounding teeth from moving. A bridge is made of crowns that have been soldered together and then attached to the adjacent teeth.

  • Periodontics (Treatment of Gum Disease)

The term "periodontal disease" includes all diseases affecting the tissues supporting the teeth. Gingivitis, for example, will present as bleeding of the gums during brushing, gum swelling and/or pain and persistent bad breath. Gum inflammation should be treated quickly to avoid the possibility of periodontal disease as tissues supporting the teeth will be affected. Periodontal disease is the main cause of adult tooth loss and can lead to other health problems if left untreated (cardiovascular diseases and premature births). With proper periodontal treatment, the health of the gums can be restored.

  • Endodontics (Root Canal)

It is important to keep one’s own teeth as long as possible. Root canal therapy is a wise choice to save a tooth that would otherwise require extraction. Here are some examples where root canal treatment is required: in the case of deep cavities that reach the pulp (the living portion of the tooth), a dental infection or severe pain. Root canal treatment involves removing the inflamed pulp or infected tooth, followed by cleaning and disinfecting the inner portion of the tooth known as the canal.

  • Surgery (Wisdom Teeth and Gingival Grafts)

Wisdom teeth may become problematic during adolescence because they can cause pain and infection, or push and move the surrounding teeth. In most cases, it is advisable to have them removed.

There are two types of gingival grafts (gum grafts). Autogenous grafts involve transplanting tissue from the palate to the affected site. Allogenic transplantation involves covering the chosen site with a collagen membrane. A gingival graft is usually recommended to treat gum recession, which occurs when the height of the gum decreases and the root of the tooth becomes exposed.

  • Orthodontics

It's never too early or too late to want a beautiful smile and straight teeth. A beautiful smile is possible for everyone - adult or child!

Orthodontic treatment is done for various reasons: to straighten crooked or misaligned teeth, to correct malocclusions, or to improve the appearance of your smile. There are conventional treatments, such as metallic or transparent braces, or the innovative Invisalign technology, which straightens the teeth without visible braces, clips or wires. Invisalign uses three-dimensional computer technology to sketch-out the entire treatment process from beginning to end. Using this plan, a series of custom-made, transparent and removable retainers (aligners) are manufactured. Each retainer in the series is worn for approximately two weeks up until the teeth gradually move to their final position.

Discuss all the options with your dentist; he will know what is best for you!

  • Dental Implantology

Dental implants are the most natural looking and advantageous replacement option for missing teeth. Implants can fill spaces, slow the loss of bone mass, and eliminate hardships associated with dentures (adhesives, discomfort, embarrassment, gum pain, loss of taste, etc). When a tooth has been lost, the height and width of the bone base diminish. Therefore, it is possible that a graft will be necessary to help support the implant.

  • Partial or Complete Dentures
Removable partial dentures attach easily to adjacent healthy teeth. They can replace one or more teeth and can be removed for cleaning and at bedtime. A full set of dentures replaces all missing natural teeth.
  • Joint Disorders

The temporomandibular joint (or TMJ) is situated between the mandible and temporal cavity (in front of the ear). Sometimes problems such as pain, cracking noises, difficulty opening and closing the mouth, ear aches, etc. occur if the jaw rotates when opening, closing or making lateral movements with the mouth. After clinical assessment, proper treatment will improve and reduce discomfort caused by joint disorders.
